College of Pharmacy Participates in "Women's Empowerment Division" Meeting for Institutional Strategic Planning

 

Mrs. Najla Al-Saffar, a faculty member at the College of Pharmacy, University of Basrah, participated in a comprehensive coordination meeting organized by the Women's Empowerment Division. The meeting was chaired by Mrs. Wafaa Hasj Al-Mayahi and attended by representatives from various university colleges and centers.

The meeting aimed to organize joint workflow mechanisms between the empowerment unit and liaison members across all university departments. Key focuses included communicating ministerial directives and discussing challenges faced by empowerment officials within the different levels of the university structure.

The discussions emphasized the necessity of activating the division's role in developing the skills of women in academics and projecting a positive, influential image both within the university and the wider community, thereby enhancing the University of Basrah's standing in sustainable development and social contribution.
