The Pharmacology and Toxicology Department at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a panel discussion entitled (Types of study designs in medical and health research) with the participation of researchers and specialists.
The panel discussion included a lecture given by Prof. Dr. Azza Sajid, in which she touched on the types of scientific publication in the health and medical aspects, and referred to the quality of review and scientific research and its divisions. A certain fact and also the possibility of its acceptance in the discreet journals included in the containers, which require specifying the design of the study.
The most important of these research designs is meta analysis, as indicated by the hierarchical classification, placing it at the top of the rest of the classification of scientific studies
The study also indicated the importance of returning to the references that talk about the scientific evidence for the types of studies and setting special standards and guidelines for each type of design.
