The representative of women's empowerment at the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Lecturer Najlaa Al-Saffar, participated in an awareness conference on the occasion of the (16-day) campaign to combat violence against women. Which was organized by the Women’s Empowerment Department in the Basra Governorate Court, in coordination with the Palace of Culture and Arts, and with the support of the Basra Support Organization for Human Rights.
Al-Saffar indicated that the conference included awareness-raising sessions and intensive lectures that highlighted the importance of eliminating all forms of violence against women, in order to ensure that women exercise their true role in society and thus contribute to the well-being of the family, which will reflect on society with its various members.
