The lecturer at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah Prof. Dr. Falah Hassan Shri, obtained a certificate of participation in the first international scientific conference (The Reality of Education and Scientific Research in the Arab Gulf Countries), which was organized by the Department of Scientific Events Gate - Malaysia.
 The conference discussed the most important axes of developing the infrastructure for education and supporting scientific research in the Arab Gulf states.  Obstacles and challenges of education and scientific research in the Arab Gulf states.  And the role of institutions and universities in caring for the scientific competencies of professors and taking into account the experience and specialization in the Arab Gulf countries.  In addition to the role of institutions and agencies in developing the capabilities of scientific competencies and supporting them in the Arab Gulf countries.  As well as the role of higher education institutions in development in the Arab Gulf countries.  In addition to the reality of modernizing libraries and resources and the requirements of scientific research in the Arab Gulf countries.  And the reality of activating strategic and future studies in colleges, universities and scientific research institutions in the Arab Gulf countries.  In addition to researching and diagnosing the reality of education and scientific research in the Arab Gulf countries, discussing the relationship between the outputs of education and scientific research and the requirements of reality, and highlighting the role of education institutions and researchers in advancing progress and keeping pace with developed countries.
