The College of Pharmacy organizes a seminar on allergic rhinitis

 The Pharmacology and Toxicology Department at the College of Pharmacy organized a panel discussion entitled (Treatment of Allergic Rhinitis) with the participation of researchers and specialists.
 The panel discussion included a lecture given by the lecturer Zainab Najm Abdelnabi, in which she explained the incidence, symptoms and causes of allergic rhinitis and the types of drugs used to treat this disease, the most important of which are antihistamines, corticosteroids and immunotherapy, as well as practices to reduce and control the symptoms of this disease.
 Where studies have shown that corticosteroids used topically in the nose are one of the best types of drugs to treat this disease, as they affect all symptoms of the disease and have few side effects.
 The lecture aimed to know the different types of drugs used to treat allergic rhinitis.
 The benefit lies in the fact that this disease is prevalent in our society and knowledge of medications and behaviors to deal with it is useful in reducing and controlling its symptoms.
