Instructors at the College of Pharmacy publish research in an international journal

 Dr. Abrar Salman Abdul-Razzaq, the lecturer Naglaa Saeed, Dr. Nazira Faleh and Dr. Qutaiba Abdul-Karim Qassem, have published a paper entitled (Fertin Level and Blood Standards in Patients with Hypertension and Diabetes) in the Indian Journal of Pharmaceutical Negative Results.  With an impact factor of 1.0 and within Scopus containers.
 The research included a study of diabetes and blood pressure, which are considered one of the most prevalent chronic diseases in the world. In this study, sodium, potassium and ferritin were measured in the blood serum, in addition to certain tests for liver and kidney function, which were calculated and compared between people with blood pressure disease and  Diabetic and healthy people
 The study showed a significant difference between the healthy group and patients in the level of potassium, ferritin and urea, while a non-significant change was observed in the liver enzymes test in the patients and the healthy ones.
