A delegation from the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah headed by Dr. Ola Muhammad Nour Al-Moussawi, head of the Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Plants Department, and Dr. Zainab Tohme visited the National Herbarium in Baghdad.
 Al-Moussawi indicated: The visit was to the National Herbarium, the Seed Certification Department, and the Desertification Research Department.  The purpose of the visit was to see the plant and herbal samples for the research of graduate students in the College of Pharmacy.
 Dr. Ola added: We met with the Director of the National Herbarium, Dr. Ali Haloub, and during the meeting, a scientific cooperation agreement was concluded between the National Herbarium and the University for the collection and study of medicinal plants and their importance for graduate students.
