Student Discipline Instructions
College of Pharmacy - University of Basrah
General Regulations
Students must adhere to these regulations. In case of violation, ministerial instructions regarding student discipline will be applied in accordance with the legal provisions in force to ensure the best educational process.
Article 1: Student Obligations
Adherence to laws and instructions and not offending the reputation of the College and University.
Respecting the administration, faculty, and staff, and fostering positive fellowship relations.
Refraining from any act that disturbs order within the campus and preserving property.
Adhering to the unified dress code and avoiding propaganda for any political party or organization.
Article 2: Warning/Notice
The student is punished with a warning for not adhering to the dress code or offending peer relations.
Article 3: Official Warning
The student is punished with an official warning if they commit an act requiring a notice after prior punishment, or for disturbing peace.
Article 4: Temporary Suspension (30 Days)
The student is suspended for (30) days if previously warned, or for verbal abuse towards college staff or faculty, or posting unauthorized materials.
Article 5: One-Year Suspension
The student is suspended for no more than one academic year for repeating Article 4 offenses, or for assaulting staff, incitement, violence, carrying weapons, or fraud.
Article 6: Final Dismissal
The student is permanently dismissed for repeating Article 5 offenses, actual assault on faculty, submitting forged documents, or acts disturbing security and public morals.
The deanship of the College of Pharmacy is committed to strictly applying these instructions to maintain academic integrity and the prestigious status of the University.
