The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah discussed a Master's thesis titled "Synthesis, Characterization, Molecular Docking, and Antimicrobial Evaluation of Novel Hybrid Pyrazole–Oxadiazoline Derivatives" presented by the student Khalid Ali Abid Ali.

The study focused on the synthesis and structural characterization of novel hybrid Pyrazole–Oxadiazoline derivatives. Chemical structures were confirmed using modern analytical spectroscopic techniques: (FT-IR, ¹H-NMR, and Mass Spectrometry).

Antibacterial and antifungal activities were evaluated, alongside determining the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) and concentration-dependent potency compared to standard reference drugs. Additionally, pharmacological properties and ligand-protein target interactions were investigated using Molecular Docking simulations.

The study aimed to develop novel hybrid Pyrazole–Oxadiazoline derivatives as promising antimicrobial agents. The findings provide critical insights into the structure-activity relationship (SAR) and protein-binding mechanisms for future therapeutic development.
