The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah discussed a Master's thesis titled:
"The Potential Beneficial Effect of Nimesulide in Females with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)."

The study, presented by student Riyam Muhammad Qasim, compared two therapeutic regimens: Metformin monotherapy versus a combination therapy of Metformin and Nimesulide.

Findings indicated that adding Nimesulide offered targeted advantages by lowering C-reactive protein (CRP) levels and increasing follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) levels. These results suggest a promising approach for enhancing hormonal treatment outcomes in PCOS patients.
