Basrah - Pharmacy College Media:

The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah discussed a Master's thesis titled:
"Synthesis, Characterization, and Physicochemical Studies of Supramolecular Systems Containing Some Pharmaceuticals."

The thesis, presented by student Essam Saleem Khudair, described the design and synthesis of advanced functional derivatives of Calix[4]pyrrole and Pyrogallol[4]arene to enhance drug solubility and chemical stability.

These compounds demonstrate promising anti-cancer potential by inhibiting the CDK7 enzyme. This research marks a significant step toward developing smart, targeted therapies with improved pharmaceutical performance and controlled release mechanisms.
