The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Pharmacy organized an awareness lecture for first-year students titled: "Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism."

Lecturer Najlaa Al-Saffar stated that the college hosted Lieutenant Colonel Muntadhar Kadhim Neamah from the Community Police to focus on "intellectual security" and ways to protect young minds from extremist ideologies through moderation.

The lecture aimed to immunize students against extremist thoughts while promoting values of moderation and social cohesion. This effort ensures that youth remain a strong barrier for a positive, dialogue-based university environment and a stable society.
