The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a specialized workshop titled: "Biosafety in Research Laboratories" for postgraduate students, as part of the mandated CPRN ministerial course.
Dr. Zuhair Ghalib Al-Shahin presented a lecture on biological hazards and pathogenic microorganisms, detailing scientific methods for handling clinical samples and safe waste disposal according to international regulations to prevent environmental contamination.
