Dr. Hussein Nasser Khalaf, a faculty member at the College of Pharmacy, published a distinguished scientific research paper in the British journal "Scientific Reports," ranked within the global first quartile (Q1).

The research, titled: "Insights into the pharmaceutical characteristics of green-synthesized iron oxide nanoparticles" utilized Iraqi onion peel extract for the biosynthesis of high-performance iron oxide nanoparticles (Fe3O4).
