The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Enjaz Foundation for Development, organized a dialogue and educational session in the heart of Al-Farahidi Cultural Street in central Basrah.
The session was moderated by Lecturer Najla Al-Saffar, and the lecture was presented by Pharmacist Zahra Jasib, focusing on the necessity of educating the Basrah community about the dangers of taking antibiotics without specialized medical consultation, and the causes of treatment failure resulting from incorrect habits in handling medications.
The session was characterized by wide interaction from the attendees, where many questions were raised about the effectiveness of medications and natural alternatives, reinforcing the college's role in spreading health culture in the field and contributing to building a health-conscious society.
