Researchers Mustafa Qusay ,Dr. Liqa Abdul-Ridha and Dr. Falah Hasan Shari from the College of Pharmacy ,University of Basrah have published a research entitled(Preparation, diagnosis and study of the anti-cancer efficacy of 3-acetyl-1,3,4-oxadiazoline ibuprofen derivatives) in an Indian journal : Journal of Systematic Review Pharmacy .The journal is of an impact factor 0.42 and included Within Scopes Q2 index The research included preparing a new series of ibuprofen oxadiazoline derivatives and diagnosing them using FT-IR spectroscopy techniques, proton nuclear magnetic resonance analysis, and microscopic elemental analysis techniques. Anti-cancer efficacy was studied using the MCF7 cell line for breast cancer because of its importance as it represents 23% of cancer diseases in general and 14% of cancer deaths. The results showed good effective antitumor activity with a significant reduction in viable cells.
