College of Pharmacy Participates in University-Wide Memorial for Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah

The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah actively participated in a large-scale memorial stand organized at the **Bab al-Zubair site** on **Monday, September 30, 2024**. The event was held to honor the martyrdom of **Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah** and to express solidarity with the people of Lebanon and Palestine.
During the stand, the University President addressed the academic community, condemning the persistent aggression in the region and directing the launch of a donation campaign for humanitarian aid. This initiative aligns with the directives of H.E. the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, **Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi**, advocating for institutional support for fraternal nations.
Academic staff, administrative personnel, and students joined the ceremony, which included collective prayers and messages of support for sovereignty and peace. The university reaffirmed its role as a platform for advocacy and defense of human dignity across the Arab world.
