A high-level delegation from the University of Basrah, led by President Prof. Dr. Saad Shahin Hammadi and Vice President Prof. Dr. Falah Hassan Shari, participated in the Scientific Week hosted by Ferdowsi University, involving over 60 universities from both nations.
The event focused on strengthening academic interactions and international cultural exchange, emphasizing technology transfer and the establishment of science parks. The agenda included joint research initiatives, postgraduate scholarship programs, and specialized workshops aimed at bridging technological ties between educational institutions in both countries.
The participation concluded with the signing of strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and the formation of joint academic committees. These bodies will oversee joint research projects and address academic challenges through periodic bilateral meetings and webinars, ensuring a sustainable framework for scientific cooperation.
