The President of the University of Basrah Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, honored Professor Dr. Falah Hassan Shri for his efforts in managing the College of Pharmacy in the past period.

The ceremony of receiving and handing over the position of dean to a number of important university colleges took place at the University of Basrah, within the context of the periodically applicable universities and formations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The ceremony began with a verse from the Holy Quran, then a speech by the university president in which he praised the efforts made by the deans, whose assignments ended, for the achievements they provided to the university and the support they provided to the academic process in different circumstances.
Hammadi continued, “The university seeks with all its efforts to serve science and society and push the wheel of knowledge forward through the capabilities it possesses.”
Then Professor Dr. Falah Hassan Shri gave his speech in which he demonstrated the extent of his keenness to fulfill the responsibility and pointed to the important achievements achieved by the College of Pharmacy during the past years, including the challenge that the nation faced during the Corona crisis and electronic and blended education. He also extended his sincere thanks to the President of the University, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen. Hammadi, the University Council, and the College Council.
After that, the outgoing deans were honored by the presidency of the University of Basrah its council, and the Iraqi Academics Syndicate.
