The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, Assistant Professor Dr. Laila Jassim Abbas, participated in the second conference held by the Women's Empowerment Division at the University of Basrah in cooperation with the High Commission for Human Rights and a team of leaders for development at the theater hall at the College of Arts and under the slogan: Iraqi women are partners in sustainable development. The conference included several axes, the first axis: the axis of international law and human rights, a lecture on women's rights according to the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women, and the second axis: the axis of Sharia, which included a lecture on the CEDAW Convention - and the vision of Sharia. The third axis included the health aspect and a lecture entitled CEDAW and the health sector. As for the second day, it included electronic sessions, and the first session was on the career axis, and two lectures on work pressures and university student problems.
