Teaching staff at The College of Pharmacy publish a research paper in an international journal included within Scopes index.

The doctors:Dr. Liqa Abdul-Ridha Rahim, Dr. Mazen Nazem Musa, and Dr. Rahim Jamil Muheisen in the College of Pharmacy published a paper entitled (Synthesis, characterization and evaluation of anti-inflammatory properties of novel a, B-unsaturated ketone) In the Nigerian Tropical Journal of Pharmaceutical Research with an impact factor of 0.9 and within the Scopes and Clarivate index. The research included the preparation and diagnosis of polyunsaturated ketones that have anti-inflammatory activity. These compounds were prepared in the laboratories of the College of Pharmacy and were diagnosed by spectroscopic and chemical methods, where the anti-inflammatory activity was studied. The results showed higher anti-active property than using the compounds, as well as a high anti-bacterial activity
