Basrah - College of Pharmacy Media:
The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a seminar titled "Investigation of the Inhibitory Effects of Pumpkin Seed Extracts on Microorganisms," in a lecture presented by Dr. Rawaa Mohammed.
The seminar shed light on the medical importance of the pumpkin plant, given its role in treating many diseases. It particularly focused on the seeds of this plant, which have inhibitory effects on the growth of pathogenic microorganisms.
The results of a study conducted by the lecturer on the alcoholic extract of this plant and its role in inhibiting the growth of some types of microorganisms were presented. Additionally, the results of other research in the same field were reviewed.
