The College of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Student Activities Unit and under the direct supervision of the Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Gibran Khalil, organized a volunteer campaign to distribute a food basket to needy families coinciding with the last week of the holy month of Ramadan and within the college’s various activities and campaigns in community service.
The unit’s official, Professor Dr. Sanaa Jawad Al-Mayahi, stated that the campaign aimed to distribute food baskets in needy and poor areas of Basra Governorate. The food basket was distributed to needy families through the efforts of the college’s members and professors who seek to implement volunteer campaigns aimed at supporting social issues in implementation of the college’s motto in service. the society.
